AMIRI Clothing: Each Category of the Line, Named Properly

Poll most people what amiri clothing consists of and one answer comes back, which is distressed jeans. Denim is still both the centre of gravity and the origin point of the house, yet the label now sells far more besides. This is a survey of the full range, category by category, working from names taken from official pages and stockists the house names rather than blog copy. Model names that do not exist are repeated across a lot of writing about this label, which is exactly why the sourcing matters. Prices throughout are observed market figures from 2026 listings, not an official price list, and they move. Run from Los Angeles and shown in Paris, the house founded by Mike Amiri stayed menswear-first until womenswear arrived in 2021.

Denim, and the Names That Are Real

Garments are hand-distressed and then rebuilt in plain sight with contrast material, which is why Repair is the governing verb. Made as a skinny five-pocket in Italian stretch denim repaired with pleated leather, the MX1 is the signature jean, and its official composition names ovine leather as the contrast. It belongs to the Core Collection, is made in the USA, and view collection is observed at $1,090. Also made in the USA, the Stack is the entry point to core denim at an observed $750, and the long inseam is deliberate, engineered to concertina at the ankle rather than a cutting error. Thrasher is the pure hand-distressed expression, without the structured leather panel that defines the MX1, while Shotgun carries blown-out frayed holes with sanded edges. MX2 is a real model name, though sources describe its panelling inconsistently, and its collection pages showed no live products when checked in 2026.

Treatments Are Not Fits

The most durable error in writing about this label is elevating a treatment to a fit. Bandana is a motif run across the line, and it shows up as the MX1 Bandana Jacquard, the MX1 International, the Bandana Repair Straight Jean, a Bandana Short and a Bandana Buckle Boot. On those pieces the paisley panel takes the structural position leather takes on an MX1, so it is a substitution rather than decoration. The same pattern governs Crystal, which produces a Crystal Thrasher, a Crystal Shotgun and a Crystal Skel-Top Low at the top of their bands. Stud, Eagle, Aloha, Monogram and MA Quad behave in exactly the same way across models. MX3 exists only as the women’s Baggy MX3, a motocross-inspired hybrid observed at $990, and not as a men’s tier above the MX2.

Hoodies, Zip Hoodies and Sweatshirts

The bones motif is the cross-category signature, the same skeleton that sits on amiri sneakers. It appears on the Bones Oversized Hoodie, the Bones Fleece Zip Hoodie and the Bones Stacked Hoodie, and reached jersey hoodies for Pre-Spring 2026. Its official page describes the MA Core Logo Hoodie, the least loud piece of the group, as a normal fit with kangaroo pocket, MA icon and core logo. It is one hundred per cent cotton, made in the USA, and observed at $650. Louder options include the MA Quad Zip, Varsity Patch Zip, Club Amiri Zip and MA Quad Flames hoodies. From about $650 to roughly $1,345 is the observed band, and the ceiling of it is where the discounting bites hardest.

T-Shirts

Two core tees exist and they are constantly conflated with each other. The MA Core Logo Tee belongs to the Core Collection, is one hundred per cent cotton and is made in Italy, carrying the MA icon at the chest and the core logo across the back. The MA Bar Logo Tee is a different garment from a Pre-Fall 2022 collection, a printed cotton regular fit carrying the bar logo, made in Los Angeles. Beyond those two, anyone shopping for an amiri t shirt encounters dozens of graphic variants, including Quality Goods Patch, Eagle, Dreamers Chain Stitch and Club Amiri. The observed band runs from about $425 to about $930, with long sleeves and worked graphics at the top. This is also the most counterfeited part of the range and the fastest to discount.

Flannel and Overshirts

Flannel is a founding pillar and not a seasonal add-on, and the house’s own history cites grungy flannel shirting among its origins. The current expression is the MA Quad Bleached Flannel at an observed $1,290, which lifts a single amiri shirt above the price of most of the jeans. Lower down at roughly $865, the Bones Flannel Overshirt uses the skeleton motif in place of the quad. Both are overshirt-weight rather than dress-shirt-weight, because this is outerwear-adjacent shirting. Denim shirting overlaps with outerwear through the Denim Repair Work Jacket and the trucker constructions. A crisp poplin business shirt is not what this house specialises in.

Jackets, Varsity and Denim Outerwear

The price ceiling is found in outerwear. The varsity family is the anchor, built from wool bodies with contrast leather sleeves, chenille appliques, welt zip pockets and snap closures. Observed at about $2,310 and then marked down to roughly $1,155 in season, a Varsity Patch Jacket shows how this brand trades. Substantial wool and pebbled leather sleeves make up the Staggered Varsity Jacket. Denim outerwear is served by the Denim Repair Work Jacket at roughly $1,880, the Studs Flames Studded Trucker at about $1,815 and the Lea Bones Denim Blouson at about $1,399. A panelled Sport Leather Jacket is in the line too, yet no named bomber carries flagship status the way the varsity does.

Sweatpants, Shorts and Track Pieces

The soft-goods end is real yet far less codified than the denim. A Track Jacket exists in black and alabaster with elastic waistband and zip closure, alongside a Sport Denim Track Jacket. A Track Jean takes the same side-stripe language to denim rather than jersey. Shorts appear seasonally, and the Bandana Short is the clearest case of a treatment carried into a new silhouette. Sweatpants are stocked, but no flagship tracksuit is documented the way the MX1 or the house sneaker is. Distrust any article that names the definitive tracksuit, and buy on fabric and fit instead.

The Accessory, Womenswear and Kids Sections

With well over a hundred men’s products, accessories are a genuine category rather than a token one. Small leather goods, bags, eyewear, hats, scarves and gloves, bag straps, key chains, socks and briefs are all named in official navigation. The growing end is bags, and the Biscotto Bag is described by the house as having a gently folded shape reminiscent of a fortune cookie. Eyewear is sold, but no licensing partner could be identified, so treat any article naming one as unverified. Individual belts exist, but without a standalone navigation category, which keeps them short of pillar status. Entry price points for socks, caps and key chains were not captured here, and inventing them would be worse than leaving the gap open. Launched in 2021, womenswear now extends to denim, jersey, handbags and a women’s cut of the house sneaker, with kids’ alongside it.

Price Bands Recorded Across the Range

What follows is gathered from 2026 listings on the brand’s own channel and at authorised multi-brand retail. These are observations rather than policy, with two things bending any simple reading. First, discounting is structural, since authorised retailers cut in-season stock by forty to seventy per cent and an off-price arm of one stockist group carries past-season goods. The second is that embellished and reconstructed pieces go above their band and no ceiling is published. A useful model is that the calm core piece anchors each category, with everything worked sitting above it. The table is a reality check on a listing, not a price you should expect to pay.

The Range Taken as a Whole

Seen end to end, the line is narrower in logic than it looks in a lookbook. A single motif family and a single construction idea, visible repair, carry most of what makes a garment recognisable across categories. Origin varies by piece rather than by brand: core denim and some jersey are US-made, while amiri shoes are not. Buyer sizing guidance is consistent across every soft category: the tailoring runs trim, and sizing up one is the usual advice unless a style is already named oversized. Starting from zero, amiri men should open with the calm core pieces and leave worked outerwear as the last thing to buy at full price. Everything here is clothing bought to be worn, and behind it sits a functioning but generally sub-retail secondary market.
